Brightview Canton is a new three-story, 167,510 s.f., 160 unit senior living facility (Independent Living, Assisted Living and Alzheimer’s Care). The building is divided into two types of construction; a non-combustible portion and a combustible portion.
Base Design Group worked with the design-build teams in the Delegated Design and Construction Phases of the project to provide specialty structural engineering services for the three-story, non-combustible portion of the building. The non-combustible portion of the building consisted of steel bar joist with composite floor systems and metal roof deck on cold-formed steel bearing walls.
