The 24,000 s.f. project consists of structural renovations to the existing dealership facility as well as a new, single story building expansion of approximately 6,900 s.f. The new building addition will accommodate 14 additional car service bays and a drive-thru car wash bay. The renovation includes new restrooms, updated customer lounge and display areas, and a relocated parts department.
The building addition is constructed of a pre-engineered steel building system supported on concrete foundation walls and a grade level slab-on-ground. Existing façade and lateral force resisting systems required structural modifications and reinforcing. New MEP systems required structural reinforcement of the existing building frame to accommodate new equipment.
